Just working on a type III assignment, putting together a catalog for a made up show. Also, my beardie is helping me out.

New Projects

Got some fun projects this year,

going to be doing some event identity work, posters and ads etc.
also have a 2d animation I'm working on, simple flash one.

I am also going to be putting together parts for a small magazine, theme of which is creative / alternative culture. It's gonna have interviews with artists, coverage of local galleries, still working on what else (open to suggestions).

I have a few other big works coming up, but those are more of a surprise and I am still working on the details for them...

Surrealist Experiment

Quick experiment in surrealism. I did some meditating and relaxing, then picked up a pen and blank printer paper with my mind blanked, and just drew. This is called "automatic drawing". I did not think of anything while drawing for about 10-20 minutes. Then I took the picture, uploaded it to the computer and created a piece based around it incorporating the drawing. I want to rework it at some point, but this is a little preview.

Work on Phyred Magazine

So, I've been working on this for a while and it's finally starting to take shape.

As part of a graphic design class, I am finally putting together a copy of Phyred as a magazine.
It's going to be a creative culture magazine, although the first issue is going to be about the creation of the magazine itself...

So far I have a lot of notes, thumbnails, and headaches. But it's starting to produce some actual results in the form of templates and roughs of pages. Here's a couple quickies.
