Got bored and made a thing.
Warehaus is my studio idea, corrupting existing art ideas and genres, mashing them together and committing overall blasphemy.

Hey,
Some quickie works i haven't had time to upload for a while:

Based on some disturbing riot shields i saw online
this one is more a quick test of an idea,
i want to try messing with some
typeface manipulation
and possibly design...
These are mostly rough quick works...

Work on Phyred Magazine
So, I've been working on this for a while and it's finally starting to take shape.
As part of a graphic design class, I am finally putting together a copy of Phyred as a magazine.
It's going to be a creative culture magazine, although the first issue is going to be about the creation of the magazine itself...
So far I have a lot of notes, thumbnails, and headaches. But it's starting to produce some actual results in the form of templates and roughs of pages. Here's a couple quickies.

Some New Digital Works
Between being in a Graphic Design class, a Typography one, and Digital Media, as well as making a magazine.....theres been some random experimenting with digital work again. This is something I should have been doing all along, but I'm just starting to spool up the engines after a long period of half-assin it.
This last ones still got a lot of work left to do...
but im kinda stuck on what to do to it.

New Semester....New schemes.....
Got another fun-filled semester ahead. Classes include Digital Media, Graphics Design, a Typography class and Sculpture/Fabrication.
Digital Media: Rehash of a lot of my GDesign work from high school and generic screwing around...still..... it'll be good to learn some new techniques and practice more. I need to get back into cranking out work in all media regularly.
Graphic Design: Intro course. I managed to up my credits for it (hopefully) but ill have to do more work. Its ok, more stuff to put in a portfolio. First project? Pretty much a repeat of my first high school GD assignment. Prolly gonna experiment in free class-time.
Typography: FUUUUUUUUU-/ Seriously. I just have a lot of bad experiences with "typographers". Not all of them are stuck-up elitist pricks, but unfortunately many i have met are. Which sucks because this class has potential to carry over to my graffiti and I also think I could teach some of the kids the free-styling aspect and that some of them could help me tighten up my standard letters. I'll just have to hope for the best. First project? Hand drawing and tracing letters of the "Clarendon" typeface. Pics to come.
Sculpture: Schedules right after type for a reason. Its an awesome stress reliever and it feels great to be working with my hands again. First piece I am making? A Pyro-worthy Ax, hand-carved from various woods using really old tools and techniques.
PLACES: its not one of my classes, but it is the club I am VP of. Itll be a fun year with this. Got plenty of workshops and lessons lined up and several rituals, basically once a week. Also hoping to get some photo-ops with that.
Got a shitton of other things going on to, but I think this is enough of my headspace for now//

Fourth of July
i had a little fun at my college and up in rockport messing with long exposure shots n stuff
found someone tossing up the "X" for Excission :P
i really love getting shots of fireworks that actually hint at
the explosive aspects rather than just the pretty lights,
i mean, explosions are so much better than
pretty lights
^_^
all those blue lights? People.
with a few of my friends chilling in the middle of the exodus
after the fireworks stopped
house up in rockport- i want it
i know theyre overdone, but i love macro shots
of flowers and stuff
i love this shot. her just standing apart from the crowd
during a parade- right as a giant
pink elephant goes by
actually managed to get some shots of lightning next
to the bonfire across the bay, thanks
to my girlfriend.
first time i actually caught lightning on camera
glamour shots done up next to the bonfire,
once it wasnt 30 feet tall
i love hitting up rockport for the fourth,
theres some fireworks around the bay
and a bunch of awesome shops and
some cool artists.
and a huge fracking bonfire with an outhouse and
sometimes an effigy on top of it.

possible new set
Thinking about
as a new
shoot concept..
sort of grungy, dystopian, vaguely S.T.A.L.K.E.R./Fallout thing...
more to come.
Dabbleing
hello there.
been dabbling in random things...
im working full time at-the-moment so my art is down to just concepts for the most part, that
will change soon i hope
in the mean time- my tech work has been going further. began studying C++ and a little Java, also working
on other networking tools etc. hopefully i will be writing a couple programs ive had ideas for for a while now including a strong cypher program.
this also means good things for my art- should be introducing some tech things into this....hopefully will
post concepts soon for that.
upcoming projects:
few paintings: eventually
programs: working on it
wallpapers/themes: in-process
sale of stickers/kickoff of design group? its a secret
